Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition advice and care to patients, families, and communities. You will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop and implement nutrition plans, and provide education and support to patients and families. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About YouWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Dietitian who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You will have a Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition, a Dietetic Internship Program, and current registration with the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association. You will also have a minimum of one year of experience as a Dietitian, with a strong background in inpatient clinical nutrition and experience in dysphagia management, enteral and parenteral nutrition. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Hours and CompensationThis is a permanent full-time position, with a 75-hour biweekly schedule. You will work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and will be compensated at a rate of $32.94 - $43.42 per hour. You will also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
