About the Opportunity
Taymor Industries is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Delta. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing front-line help desk assistance and administering the processes and tools for end-user devices used throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to users of all levels within the organization, addressing user inquiries and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Procure and configure necessary equipment, coordinating with vendors and ensuring timely delivery.
- Administer security components on end-user devices, including Defender (EDR) and Intune on computers and JAMF on mobile devices.
- Conduct ad-hoc user training to promote efficient and secure usage of technology.
- Manage end-user device inventory and recommend upgrades and replacements as needed.
- Administer user accounts and privileges.
Requirements
- Diploma/degree in an IT-related program.
- 2 years of experience in supporting desktops in a corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of operating systems in a network environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Mac OS and configuration of devices.
- Standard methodology to create concise and clear documentation understandable by end-users.
- Familiarity with security components (Defender, JAMF).
