AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

As a SMB Sr. Sales Rep, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive, grow, and shape the future of an emerging innovative technology. Your responsibilities will include managing a large and diverse customer base, driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration within the SMB market. The ideal candidate will possess a sales and technical background that enables them to lead engagements at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined region.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute against a regional sales plan.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Limited travel.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans
