Our mission is to provide excellent customer service and support to our customers, while ensuring the safe and responsible sale of beverage alcohol and non-medical cannabis.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at BC Liquor Stores. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a retail store, including managing a team of staff, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue through the achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and education to the public
  • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve sales targets
  • Manage a team of staff, including hiring, training, and development
  • Control employment costs and analyze reports
  • Contribute to the establishment and improvement of the Cannabis Store image through the implementation and maintenance of policies
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent certificate
  • A minimum of two (2) years of recent, related experience leading a team within a customer-facing retail operation
  • Experience with customer service and the management of assets
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in business or retail management
  • Experience working in a government or regulatory environment
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Experience working in the cannabis industry
