Job Title: Retail Store Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to join our team at Days Inn Liquor Store. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, including managing sales staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales staff to duties and provide guidance on sales techniques and customer service.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and order merchandise as needed.
- Authorize payments and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff, including scheduling and training.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in retail management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Work Environment:
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Handle heavy loads and stand for long periods.
- Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
Personal Suitability:
- Accurate and reliable with excellent attention to detail.
- Client-focused and efficient in interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and organized with a strong work ethic.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
