Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Mississauga, Ontario site, is looking for a new Customer Care Specialist to join our team. Your Role As the Customer Care Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring that our customers have a positive experience each time they engage with Kuehne+Nagel. You will be responsible for direct interaction with our customer, proactive customer service, problem solving, customer follow up, interaction with our carrier partners Your Responsibilities
  • Participate in the implementation and readiness for go live for Spectrum Brands
  • Prove high quality customer service for managing Spectrum Brands transportation solutions.
  • Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Kuehne + Nagel's Quality Safety Health & Environment (QSHE) requirements.
  • Preparation, adherence and maintenance of client Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Shipment confirmations to ensure all deliveries take place within the transit requirements.
  • Manage shipment discrepancies, including root cause analysis and correction actions.
  • Key Performance Indicators: data collection and analysis for carrier's performance.
  • Provide On site dock support, POD Management, including shipment level OS+D.
  • Ensure data integrity & data quality into the Transportation Management System.

Your Skills and Experiences
  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in Customer Service role
  • 2 years of experience in Transportation /Distribution Center/ Warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of CEIL system
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel)
  • Availability to work periodic overtime in order to meet the requirements of the operation
