Job Title: Store Manager Assistant Company: Walmart Location: Barrie, ON Job Summary:

The Store Manager Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Store Manager in the management of store operations, ensuring friendly and helpful service, and driving profitable store sales. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about retail and want to develop their leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive profitable sales through achievement of sales and profit goals, budget management, and sales forecasts.
  • Create operational plans, prioritize tasks, and provide clear direction to Managers and Associates.
  • Ensure optimal store conditions through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, and store standards.
  • Execute and monitor asset protection and safety controls, maintain quality assurance standards, and oversee safety and operational reviews.
  • Serve customers as an ambassador for the store, greet customers, seek feedback, and resolve customer needs and complaints.
  • Support store initiatives to serve the community, participate in community events, and develop relationships with key community groups.
  • Lead and develop Assistant Managers, drive engagement, recognize and reward accomplishments, and provide opportunities for professional growth.
  • Adapt to constant changes in the technological landscape of the retail environment and oversee the effective implementation of digital applications in the store.
