About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Plant Reliability Engineering Co-op. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of asset management strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Corporate Reliability Engineers, Plant Operation Managers, and Mechanics to develop and maintain asset hierarchy lists, document navigation accelerators, inventory lists, spare part lists, job plans, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Support Maximo users in maintaining accurate and up-to-date asset information.
  • Develop and implement efficient methods for creating hyperlinks between related PDF drawings and service request forms, bill of materials, and manuals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and review drawings and field labels on assets, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Document and update asset information as needed.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance asset management efficiency and standardization.
  • Assist in registering and labeling stock items.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering program or equivalent.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, with experience in analyzing spreadsheet information, creating charts and tables, and using lookup functions.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
