Job Summary

Hydro One Networks Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-Op Student-Junior Program Manager to join our team. As a Co-Op Student-Junior Program Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the analysis of problems and development of strategies and solutions. You will also assist in the monitoring, control, and reporting of variances and redirection of programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the analysis of problems and development of strategies and solutions
  • Assist in the monitoring, control, and reporting of variances and redirection of programs and projects
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and specifications and present solutions, producing necessary documentation
  • Assist in the development, definition, and preparation of programs, processes, procedures, or methods related to management of Forestry work programs
  • Maintain basic awareness of advancing technology developments related to transmission/distribution assets
  • Work with others as required, assist in resolution of work problems
Requirements
  • Currently in 2nd year or 3rd year of a 4-year Business/Finance program
  • A valid driver's license
  • Requires knowledge of technical writing to prepare effective reports
  • Requires knowledge of business administration and financial reporting
  • Requires mathematics, information technology, analytical studies related to the application, design, and performance of the transmission/distribution system
  • Demonstrated strong communication, organization, and planning skills
  • Ability to function effectively as a team member with a demonstrated ability to be an agent of change
  • Requires strong working knowledge of Sharepoint, Microsoft Office (Visio/Excel/Word/PowerPoint), SAP, etc.
  • Requires excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
