Castillo Consulting HR is seeking highly skilled Human Resources Generalist with Recruitment, Social Event/Townhall Coordination, and Payroll & Benefits Administration experience to support our client. This is a hybrid position that is based in Mississauga, ON.


The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of Human Resources, with a particular focus on managing and maintaining positive relationships with recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and other employment-related issues.


The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with our HR team to ensure that all HR policies and practices align with the company’s mission, values, and strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities:


Onboarding & Offboarding:

  • Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and orientation is conducted effectively.
  • Manage offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and necessary documentation.


Recruitment:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing and selection.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.


Benefits and Payroll Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely, addressing any discrepancies or issues.


Social Event and Townhall Coordination:

  • Plan and organize company social events, ensuring employee engagement and participation.
  • Coordinate townhall meetings, including logistics, communication, and follow-up.


Office Administration:

  • Perform basic office administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, managing office supplies, and supporting general office operations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
