The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, journalism, or communications, with a passion for engaging with the community and enhancing our brand’s presence. This role is critical in ensuring that our messaging is consistent, impactful, and reaches our target audience effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for community relations, fostering strong relationships with local stakeholders, media, and community groups.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials.
  • Monitor media coverage and manage the company’s reputation across various platforms.
  • Organize and coordinate events, including press conferences, community outreach initiatives, and corporate social responsibility activities.
  • Assist in managing social media accounts, ensuring timely and relevant content is posted to engage with our audience.
  • Support internal communication efforts by creating and disseminating company updates and newsletters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of communication campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Must be bilingual in French and English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a communications or community relations role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with media, community stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and other digital communication tools.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
