Your new role

As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for a wide-variety of project management + client communications, including:

  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the design, development and maintenance of Internet, Intranet, and mobile applications to manage the organization's online presence including public relations, communications, commercial activities, and social media management.
  • Design marketing communications plans and programs to clients to maximize user registration, traffic, and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee continuous improvements of web presence, analyze social data, customer behaviour and insights and implement best practices to optimize performance.
  • Track and report the effectiveness of marketing plans and provide recommendations for improvements as necessary.
  • Support interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Manage internal and external communication channels including measuring and reporting the effectiveness of communication activities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of marketing programs, promotions, and enhancements to the company's Advantage Card loyalty program.
  • Optimize the use of marketing and media vehicles to drive awareness and demand (i.e., site-specific websites, print, public relations, event and email campaigns, as well as other marketing activities).
  • Assist in the development of brochures and marketing videos as required.
  • Plan, execute and track all marketing programs such as email drip campaigns, events, social media calendar and/or content marketing.
  • Staying current on trends and increase engagement in our social channels and communities by overseeing content creation for platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Google and Twitter.
  • Responsible for ensuring that media plans and budgets are maintained.
  • Responsible for the management and supervision of the Marketing & Creative Design Coordinator to ensure complete leasing, marketing, and brand alignment of programs.
  • Seek communication efficiencies and synergies between all teams.
  • Chair the annual charity golf tournament committee.
  • Create, develop, and facilitate the delivery of internal communication strategies that drive awareness and build understanding of corporate strategy, culture, business priorities and the employee value proposition.
  • Complete any other duties as requested or required from time to time.
  • Continuously strive to live by the Values and Mission while promoting our Brand.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years marketing, communications, customer services experience
  • 2-3+ years Project Management experience
  • Management experience of a marketing team
  • Business or Marketing related education or equivalent practical experience
  • General knowledge of real estate market considered an asset
  • Expert knowledge of B2B marketing platforms, channels, and best practices including social, digital and email marketing
  • Experience utilizing CMS, Automation, CRM, and digital analytical programs
  • Exceptional client-facing communication skills
  • Software knowledge in the following considered an asset: Adobe Creative Cloud, Premier and Photoshop, iMovie, In Design, WordPress, Social Sprout, Canva
  • Strong creative, detail-oriented, project management, strategic thinking skills
