JOB OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Team Leader, Application Support and Modernization, you will ensure that processes and supporting systems continue to meet business stakeholder needs. You will be a key liaison between the line-of-business staff, who perform the process work manually or in conjunction with automated systems, and the IT/IM (Information Technology and Management) technical staff, who implement solutions. You will collaborate with peers across the organization as well as external vendors in solution and application development, project management, and the delivery of technology services. Your support will enable the business process owner to make better decisions, driving consistent, higher performance outcomes.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:


EDUCATION

A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.


EXPERIENCE

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the following areas:

  • Business process design, especially leveraging technology as a solution;
  • Business analysis tools, techniques, and processes;
  • Implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems;
  • Project management methodologies.


KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance processes;
  • Knowledge of business systems and integration;
  • Knowledge of marketing and communication strategies.


ABILITIES

  • Ability to analyze and make recommendations;
  • Ability to establish priorities, organize work to meet tight deadlines, and work with limited supervision;
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities;
  • Ability to document detailed business and technical requirements;
  • Ability to interact with vendors and contractors to obtain deliverables;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.

ASSETS

  • Knowledge of corporate applications such as MS Dynamics AX, Microsoft D365, or other ERP systems, Enterprise Asset Management systems, and HR Information Systems like PeopleSoft.
  • Knowledge of financial processes.


CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Bilingual (BBB): Proficiency in both French and English is required.
  • Secret Security Clearance: Must possess or be eligible to obtain.
  • The position is based in the National Capital Region. The selected candidate must reside within a commutable distance from the workplace.
  • The company offers a hybrid and flexible work environment. All employees are currently required to work on-site at least two (2) days per week.
