Your daily role

As an Accounts Payable Technician, and under the authority of the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for processing invoices for our payables department and will provide general support to suppliers and within his or her team.

THE ROLE:

  • Verify, validate and ensure the payment of invoices to suppliers according to the agreements;
  • Enter invoices into our various systems;
  • Reconcile and analyze invoices with purchase orders and receipts (cost compliance);
  • Ensure the accuracy of accounting entries according to the months in which expenses were incurred;
  • Maintain the supplier file and ensure the accuracy of information;
  • Manage account payables with rigor and diligence;
  • Be co-responsible for team documents on directories and/or shared drives (Google);
  • Reconcile account statement (under his/her responsibility);
  • Monitor credit balances;
  • Ensure the application of internal controls, procedures and policies established by Nortera;
  • Provide quality administrative support to internal and external clients;
Your profile
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
  • DEC in administrative technique, accounting technique or any other training deemed equivalent
  • Knowledge of Coupa and Kofax computer systems an asset;
  • Know the purchase order process, receipt and cost
  • Advanced written and spoken English;
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office suite (Excel);
  • Mastery of Google tools (Shared Drives);
  • Working with different currencies CAD-USD-EURO
