Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors, and end users. You will oversee the estimating and project management of fiber optic and telecommunications projects. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across the BC area. Your duties will include reviewing completed designs for cable and relocation projects, preparing estimating take-offs based on these designs, and completing quotes accordingly. Additionally, you will utilize various project management platforms to ensure accurate and timely quote submissions.


What you'll need to succeed

We are seeking candidates with 2–3 years of experience in Electrical Project Management and/or estimating, preferably within the telecommunications/fiber optics industry. Key attributes include strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and a collaborative approach to teamwork. A deep understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations is essential. Familiarity with best practices in electrical project management and estimation is highly valued. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, exercise project cost control, and maintain financial tracking. Proficiency with computer software, including tools like AutoCAD, MS Office, Blue Beam, Procore, and Zoom, is expected. A proactive problem-solving approach and adaptability to high-volume, fast-paced team environments are critical.


What you'll get in return

As the Electrical Project Manager, you will be entitled to earn a competitive compensation package of $85K-$105K + vehicle allowance or gas card, Bonus, RRSP, extended benefits, and 3 or more weeks of vacation
