Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST (depending on the start time)
Location: 165 DUNLOP DRIVE GUELPH Ontario N1L1P4
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant 2 to provide moderately complex, varied-to-routine administrative and clerical support. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience managing administrative tasks such as emailing, printing, and organizing paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Message Handling: Receive, relay, and respond to moderately complex administrative requests.
- Documentation Management: Solicit, collect, and organize documentation and data, ensuring accurate data entry into multiple systems.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Plan and coordinate meetings, maintain diaries, and manage travel arrangements.
- Administrative Processes: Apply knowledge of department operations, policies, and procedures to complete administrative tasks effectively.
- Clerical Support: Perform printing, filing, and paperwork management.
- Customer and Technical Support: Address routine administrative or technical issues under general supervision and escalate more complex matters as needed.
- Other Duties: Take on additional tasks as assigned to support department goals.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and general computer skills.
- Effective English communication skills (speaking, writing, and reading).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
