Key Responsibilities:
  1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

    Facilitate employer branding through curating the company’s careers website and social media channels, collecting and sharing employee testimonials, and showcasing the company’s culture. Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to build a robust talent pipeline. Oversee recruitment, hiring, and training, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates and maintaining agency relationships. Collaborate with hiring managers to refine job descriptions and create engaging postings. Review applications, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate subsequent interview rounds. Maintain positive candidate relationships, providing timely feedback. Participate in final selection, coordinate job offers, and facilitate employment agreement finalization. Research and collaborate in creating job descriptions, salary scales, and competency appraisal measures for newly developed roles.

  2. Organizational Development:

    Assist in the development and implementation of organizational change initiatives. Conduct training needs assessments and facilitate training programs. Support succession planning and career pathing efforts.

  3. Employee Onboarding and Development:

    Plan and administer staffing, onboarding, training, and career development programs. Coordinate with hiring managers and onboarding teams to meet new employees' needs, including workspaces and technology. Ensure the completion and processing of all required paperwork and legal documents. Facilitate health and safety training enrollment and on-the-job safety training. Coordinate and manage employee performance appraisal programs.

  4. Employee Relations and Engagement:

    Act as a mediator in resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture. Organize and facilitate employee feedback programs, such as surveys or focus groups. Facilitate termination processes, including preparing termination and severance letters.

  5. Human Resources Policies and Employee Relations:

    Implement and evaluate HR and labor relations strategies, policies, and procedures. Advise the employer and employees on HR policy interpretation and application. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding hiring and termination. Continuously review and enhance HR processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

  6. Employee Health and Wellness:

    Develop and promote health and wellness programs to support employee well-being. Coordinate employee assistance programs (EAP) and other support services. Monitor and manage workplace safety programs and initiatives.

  7. Compliance and Legal Responsibilities:

    Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations. Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements. Manage and respond to legal inquiries and investigations related to employment practices.

  8. HR Reporting, Compliance, and Termination:

    Compile and analyze HR department results, monitoring recruitment metrics to enhance talent acquisition efficiency.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  3. Thorough knowledge of labor legislation.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel proficiency is essential.

  7. Ability to travel occasionally to other company locations or for recruitment events.
  8. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment. The role may require occasional travel to other company locations or for recruitment events.

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent. Pay: From $67,000.00 per year.
