Role: Recruitment Specialist

Location: Hybrid, Toronto


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process for a portfolio of challenging and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Continuously identify and implement innovative talent strategies to achieve excellence in time-to-fill, quality of hire, and overall results.
  • Ensure a superior candidate experience with regular engagement with hiring managers.
  • Evaluate existing policies and processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance, support, and education to leaders, employees, and applicants on workforce planning practices and processes.
  • Maintain data integrity by promptly responding to requests for corporate metrics, external reports, surveys, audits, and more.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), offering training to maximize system effectiveness.
  • Act as the main contact for workforce planning and recruitment vendors, managing contracts and procurement.
  • Oversee the use of social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical methods to identify potential candidates.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:

A university degree in a related field from an accredited educational institution; CHRL designation is an asset.


Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Proven experience in supporting senior-level hiring managers with complex workforce planning challenges.
  • Extensive experience in full-cycle recruitment for both senior-level roles and large-scale hiring initiatives.
  • Experience working in a large, complex, matrixed environment.
  • Industry experience in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering Consulting.
