Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards and HRIS, the HR Generalist, People and Culture, supports the development and implementation of processes and programs related to the Leave of Absence Management process, Global Compensation and HRIS. The incumbent acts as a Technical Specialist for Human Resources Data Analytics and reporting for the organization. The incumbent is responsible for the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) administration and analyzes and recommends solutions for complex Leave of Absence cases, Total Rewards issues, and Human Resources and Data Analytics requirements.

In addition, the HR Generalist, People and Culture, will manage tests to be administered to candidates applying for a job within the organization. The incumbent will work closely with our Talent Acquisition Team to ensure that the candidates are a proper fit with the organization. The incumbent also participates in the research on industry trends, prepares recommendations for new processes and reports, and improves the existing tools. In collaboration with the Information Technology and Accounting departments, he supports the improvement, development and modification of the HR Payroll. He also provides support to the Human Resources team and improves processes, records management, reporting and quality assurance. The incumbent supports the annual salary Year-End process and helps to manage the periodic reporting processes related to the HRIS.

Job Description
  • Manages the Leave of Absence process and provides support to employees in various HR-related topics such as Leaves and Total Rewards and resolves any issues that may arise.
  • Contributes to developing the HRIS and the various Talent modules, such as the Performance and Learning Management System.
  • Manages qualifying tests for the candidates and provides the results of these tests to the members of the Talent Acquisition who requested those tests.
  • Implements and maintains Human Resources Reporting and Data Analytics for the organization.
  • Supports the Performance Management and Year-End Merit cycles.
  • Assists with Human Resources special projects, as required.
  • Supports troubleshooting of HRIS and compensation issues.
  • Promotes HR programs related to Absence Management and Total Rewards to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of human resource policies in their own area of expertise.
  • Other duties related to area of expertise, as assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 3+ years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience with managing Leaves from different provinces.
  • Strong Technical skills with HRIS systems. UKG experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and French (verbal and written).
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel and Word.
  • Customer-service oriented mindset and proven ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

To comply with Bill 96, Sekure has taken reasonable measures to avoid requiring knowledge of a language other than French in order to be hired or to be retained in this position.
