Responsibilities

  1. Provide advice and operational support to partners and staff on human resources matters, including the application and understanding of policies, guidelines, disciplinary actions, legal issues, performance management, labor relations and development, while ensuring alignment with firm objectives.
  2. Coordinate the performance appraisal process, including the management of annual appraisals and the development of individual development plans.
  3. Participate in the implementation of competitive compensation and engagement programs.
  4. Support the orientation process for new members of the firm.
  5. Manage difficult situations, such as terminations, dismissals, leaves of absence, and employee conflicts.
  6. Support succession planning and career development initiatives for employees.
  7. Ensure regional practices are aligned with MNP's culture and standards.
  8. Participate in various projects as required.
  9. Communicate with national Human Capital team and counterparts in other regions to promote consistent practice.
  10. Give presentations to internal MNP departments and facilitate workshops when required.
  11. Support diversity initiatives in the workplace.

Skills and Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in human resources or industrial relations.
  2. 2 to 3 years' practical experience in human resources.
  3. Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation obtained or in process (an asset).
  4. Experience in a professional services environment (an asset).
  5. Oral and written bilingualism (French and English).
  6. This position requires travel to Laval and Longueuil and is in our downtown Montreal office.
