Role: Human Resources Vice Manager

Location: Montreal, QC

Our client is dynamic, constantly growing and evolving is currently looking for a bilingual a Human Resources Vice Manager to join their team in the Montreal area. Responsibilities:
  1. Provide direct administrative support to the Human Resources Manager on all HR related matters
  2. Oversee and actively contribute to the entire recruitment cycle
  3. Provide quality service to all employees by professionally handling all complaints and inquiries
  4. Assist in the implementation of human resources strategies, policies, procedures and programs
  5. Ensure effective monitoring of all day-to-day human resources functions in order to achieve departmental and organizational objectives
  6. Provide appropriate advice on legal issues and compliance with market labor laws
  7. Support our US branches
  8. Contribute to the implementation and revision of organizational structures in the divisions concerned act as a change agent by creating a work environment culture
  9. Creating the job profile, selecting search methods, selection and interviews, coordination of background checks, presentation of the offer
  10. Evaluate payroll processing, including ensuring that leave and sick leave are recorded in the system
  11. Respond to employee queries in a timely manner
  12. Set up and maintain current employee files and database
  13. Administer new employee on-boarding
  14. Contribute to the creation and development of human resources policies and procedures
  15. Participate in other human resources projects and tasks as required
  16. Act as first line for all HR administration issues
The required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management
2-4 years’ experience in Human Resources as a generalist (CPHR is an asset)
Experience / knowledge of US employment regulations
Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment
You thrive in a constantly evolving environment, and you welcome the opportunity to lead and implement growth and opportunity
Organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
You are committed to growth and development with the same ambition to advance your career
Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bilingualism in spoken and written (French and English)
Ability to maintain internal and external relations
