Senior Delivery Assurance Consultant to support Assurance oversight and create governance processes and standards to enable Enterprise Portfolio Enablement

Our Financial Client is looking for a Senior Delivery Assurance Consultant to support Assurance oversight and create governance processes and standards to enable Enterprise Portfolio Enablement team and the larger Information Technology Solutions division.


6 months contract to start, strong possibilities of converting to FTE/extensions. Hybrid 1-2 days/week in Vancouver, open to Toronto (PST hours) candidates


Must Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in delivery assurance, project delivery experience with developing and implementing governance procedures and processes within Agile environment
  • Experience with developing risk & compliance standards policies, procedures to meet regulatory requirements and process development.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Knowledge of Financial/Banking services operations

  • PMP and/or PMI


Responsibilities:

  • The key job responsibilities are the four to six main areas of the job that ultimately help the team meet their annual objectives. These responsibilities are critical to aspects of the work and an on-going requirement of the job.
  • Perform member transactions, leveraging multiple systems, accurately and efficiently to provide a positive member experience
  • Identify, assess member/prospect needs to provide appropriate products, services and referrals that contribute to company's objectives
  • Apply organizational risk and compliance standards, policies , procedures and controls to meet regulatory requirements and mitigate risks.

  • Assurance Oversight:
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and standards for both Agile and Waterfall projects, including regular compliance reviews, reporting, and risk management.
  • Track and analyze delivery performance metrics to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
  • Conduct delivery assurance reviews to evaluate project progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on delivery performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all delivery activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on delivery risks and issues and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Process Development:
  • Create, document, and maintain processes and procedures for project governance, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify potential delivery issues and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions. 3
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
  • Work closely with project teams to provide guidance and support, helping to resolve governance-related challenges and ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that enhance delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to project managers and teams on governance procedures and promote the use of governance tools and methodologies.
