Job Description:

The role of Senior Cloud Portfolio Manager - Agile Delivery Expert at Financière Sun Life involves leading the centralized intake process for the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE). This individual will be responsible for managing and consolidating demand collection for assigned portfolios, collaborating with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Digital Business Technology Solutions (DBTS) partners to ensure effective decision-making.

This position requires a deep understanding of portfolio management, including new initiatives, delivery lifecycle, and BAU requests. The successful candidate will provide specialized advice and solutions to internal lines of business consumers, helping them navigate the AWS (Amazon Web Services) and CCoE cloud landscape while driving Agile process improvements.

Main Accountabilities:

- Manage and consolidate demand collection for assigned portfolios, ensuring effective decision-making through collaboration with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and DBTS partners.
- Own and manage requests through the triage process, developing a forward view of requirements and analysis of requests requiring CCoE support.
- Coordinate triage meetings with assigned portfolios, communicating and collaborating to develop a forward view of requirements and analysis of requests.
- Develop and maintain a tracker of all requests, working with DBTS partners to capture project activities and dependencies within scope.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure alignment of priorities, approaches, and activities across teams to effectively deliver on overall team objectives.
- Collaborate on process improvements and quality assurance of process inputs and outputs.

Align Business Needs with Solutions

- Support conversations at the business level, discovering consumer core objectives and working to align key initiatives with how to accomplish consumer goals.
- Reviewing the intake model for cloud and finding opportunities to improve business requirements gathering, working both internally and externally with AWS.

Delivery Management Support

- Support Program Increment (PI) planning and ad hoc demand, owning specific programs that are large and complex in nature and require more dedicated support.
- Drives customer relationship management & communication as key interface for the requestor, facilitating across all IT partners required to deliver the solution.

Cloud Advisor

- Act as a dedicated guide to navigate the CCoE and AWS on behalf of internal line of business consumers, centrally managing the transition from on-prem application and infrastructure environments to the cloud.
- Providing consumers advice across portfolios/lines of business to encourage migrations to cloud where there are nuanced items that require specific focus.

Reporting

- Define cloud-centric measures and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of services delivered to customers.
- Leverage Portfolio Kanban Board for reporting and dashboard overview with leadership, developing and maintaining documentation for each assigned portfolio.

Qualification and Preferred Skills:

- University/College degree or sufficient work experience in lieu of;
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant IT experience within an Enterprise environment;
- Effective problem-solving skills enabling facilitation from problem statement through to solution and resolution, working with CCoE Product Owners and partnered areas across DBTS.
- Strong technical working knowledge of Cloud services and offerings;
- Customer/Client Journey analysis;
- Problem analysis and problem statement definition;
- Agile process and delivery expertise, including the use of JIRA to manage an intake and delivery workload;
- Demonstrated financial acumen to lead, understand, and present estimate or Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) results and assess decisions with financial impact;
- Consumer/Customer outcome-focused;
- Excellent planning and organizational skills;
- Proven ability to build, develop, and manage cross-divisional relationships and inter-dependencies;
- Proven ability to influence;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team, step-up and lead when the situation requires;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders;
- Ability to meet deadlines and excellent multitasking;
- Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills with demonstrated ability to build and manage effective relationships;
- Proven track record of establishing and managing relationship building;
- Experience in thinking out of the box and increasing the value-add proposition of an organization.

A competitive salary range for this role is between $84,000-$138,000, influenced by market range data. The company offers various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales-focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
