This position is a full-time role based in Mississauga, ON where you will work 3 days in our Warehouse and 2 days in our Mississauga office.

Responsibilities:

Providing HR Administration Support including:

  1. Answering Associate inquiries on all HR issues related to pay, hours, etc.
  2. Helping & coordinating payroll processes using UKG software;
  3. Organize and oversee HR employee events, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with company culture and objectives;
  4. Responsible for providing employment letters and employment verification as needed for associates;
  5. Helping with Workday Transactions and Data Maintenance;
  6. Responsible for generating and delivering comprehensive reports;
  7. New Hire Onboarding Coordination (Including processing background checks);
  8. Maintain New Hire Offboarding & Trackers for compliance of various Audits;
  9. Benefits Administration (Hires, Changes, Terms);
  10. Payroll Coordination (Manual Cheques etc.);
  11. Invoicing in SAP for all HR Expenses;
  12. Coordinate HR activities (scholarship awards, etc.);
  13. Responsible for Workday Learning and administrative support;
  14. Responsible for rewards and recognition/Gift card coordination.
Communications:
  1. Draft & Create employee communications (email signage) for HR initiatives;
  2. Create DE&I Information emails;
  3. Create Social Media posts for HR events;
  4. Maintain our internal HR site with current/new information;
  5. Support ERGs (Employee resource groups) with Communications from the ESG mailbox.
Qualifications:
  1. Typically requires a College Diploma or Degree or equivalent experience;
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of HR generalist experience including Internships or co-op;
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  4. Experience with Canva or similar tools is a strong asset;
  5. Ability to generate and analyze HR reports and metrics;
  6. Must be customer-focused, show initiative, organized, and detail-oriented;
  7. Familiarity with HRIS including Workday and other HR-related software is ideal;
  8. Thorough understanding of labor laws and employment regulations;
  9. Knowledge of employee benefits programs and compensation strategies is a plus;
  10. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships;
  11. Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities;
  12. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion;
  13. Willingness to stay current with industry trends and continuous learning.
