Role Overview: Human Resources Coordinator – Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Talent Acquisition:
    1. Leading Lakeside’s full cycle recruitment and ensuring targets are met.
    2. Completing Hiring Intake process with Hiring Managers.
    3. Coordinating with hiring managers on job requirements, updating job descriptions/job advertisements accordingly.
    4. Posting job advertisements on public job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn) and coordinating with Marketing Team to update job postings on Lakeside’s company website.
    5. Screening Resumes for all open positions.
    6. First round interviewing for various positions at Lakeside.
    7. Coordinating Career Fairs and information sessions held at Universities and Colleges.
    8. Creating and updating Procedure Documents related to recruitment processes.
    9. Driving continuous improvement initiatives for Recruitment and Onboarding processes.
    10. Administrative tasks related to the full-cycle recruitment process, including but not limited to:
      1. Scheduling candidates.
      2. Uploading resumes to the applicant tracking system.
      3. Creating offer letters.
      4. Following up with candidates on interview status.
      5. Staying up to date on legislation changes.
  2. Onboarding Program:
    1. Leading the new hire onboarding process.
    2. Acting as a primary point of contact for new employees on their first day.
    3. Meeting with New Hires during their 1 Month Follow Up to discuss their integration into Lakeside.
    4. Coordinating ‘Onboarding Week’ (a presentation series that provides an overview of Lakeside’s industry, structure, and operations for new employees).
    5. Providing suggestions for improvements for future Onboarding Week series.
  3. Administrative Tasks:
    1. Monitoring HR Inboxes.
    2. Meeting Minutes for all HR Team Meetings.
    3. Creating surveys.
    4. Coordinating meetings and events.
    5. Scanning and photocopying documents.
    6. Filing documents into Employee Folders.
    7. Researching various topics as required to determine best practices and new methods for improving HR programs and initiatives.
    8. Assisting with other projects, as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Required
  1. University Degree in Human Resources OR University Degree with Post-Graduate studies in Human Resources.
  2. One to Three (1-3) years of HR administrative support.
  3. Proficient in the use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PDF Exchange).
  4. Professionalism and confidentiality.
  5. Well organized and attentive to detail.
  6. Strong ability to multi-task and time manage.
  7. Well-developed communication skills (written and oral).
