Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, All Weather Windows Ltd. (AWW) is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada. Operations include two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres located in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

The Regional Manager, Edmonton will report to the Director of Sales and will be responsible for all functions of the Customer Solutions Center (CSC) on a day-to-day basis including coordination and direction of activities within the CSC to meet or exceed sales targets and ensure operational excellence. You will effectively manage all CSC operating costs while ensuring facility and staff meet compliance with Safety and Regulatory standards. You will provide leadership to a remote sales team located in Northern Alberta and lead an operational team including an Operations Manager who oversees team members including shipping and receiving, customer service, and service technicians to achieve superior performance and excellent service to customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Overall responsibility for the entire regional performance including revenue and profitability budgets.
• Forecast and prepare all sales & operating budgets (partnering with Sales & Operations Managers.).
• Ensure accurate entry of sales amounts to match purchase orders, RMAs and credits and adjustments.
• Implement organizational strategies for the branch that align with corporate vision, goals, and strategic priorities.
• Overall execution of corporate strategy.
• Development, coaching and coordination of Operations Manager and Sales Manager (if applicable).
• Daily use of CRM and Power BI to collect live data to make effective decisions.
• Develop new areas of business by seeking out opportunities to increase revenue stream while maintaining an acceptable level of risk.
• Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales potential.
• Host quarterly business reviews.
• Attend all regional meetings.
• Audit regional processes and establish goals, KPI’s and milestones for the team.
• Display consistent leadership amongst support departments and work collaboratively to achieve a positive customer experience and maintain strong overall net profit performance in alignment with corporate strategy.
• Work with Director to strategize profitable stales and goals, managing customers based on revenue and profitability.
• Effectively communicate corporate strategy and initiatives to entire team within the region.
• Monthly review of profitability by customer.
• Drive a safe, goal orientated, bought in and positive culture through high performance leadership.
• Overall focus on gross margin of regional CSC.
• Cascade corporate initiatives and directives in management team.
• Recommend continuous improvements to policies and processes.
• Implement and monitor Lean initiatives.
• Assist in process reengineering by integrating business requirements and systems.
• Communicate and maintain accountabilities and expectations for direct and indirect reports.
• Implement and apply recruitment, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, development, and disciplinary programs.
• Establish and monitor clear and attainable performance goals for direct reports.
• Ensure employee position descriptions and performance reviews are current and up to date.
• Assess the strengths and development needs of staff, discuss career goals, and set up learning plans for staff.
• Communicate and model AWW corporate values and vision.
• Approve payroll and manage vacation/time off for direct reports.
• Review and approval of all Account Manager expense reports.

• Be accountable and achieve sales and profit budgets set in partnership with the Regional Manager for the region.

THE INDIVIDUAL
Given the pivotal role this individual will be expected to play in achieving the strategic objectives of the company and in supporting the success of the organization, it is essential that the successful candidate possess the following core competencies, experience, and attributes:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration or Commerce is an asset.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered in lieu of post secondary education.

Experience
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years progressively more responsible experience in sales management.
• Experience in window/door manufacturing would be an asset but not a requirement.
• High level of leadership capability.

COMPENSATION

WORK ENVIRONMENT
