(Senior) Software Project Manager

Our client is a cloud-driven SaaS company with a strong international presence primarily in commercial industries. With over 20+ years of experience building their successes in different regions through organic growth, they are currently expanding their Global Professional Services Team, by strategically increasing their project management capabilities with multiple new additions in Vancouver in the coming months.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive key initiatives and manage projects for assigned customers
  • Create project timelines, manage implementation milestones and ensure quality deliverables
  • Liaise with Account Managers in maintaining value-driven service and achieving technical milestones set forth by customers
  • Ensure clear communication of project requirements and deliverable expectations
  • Work closely with technical development teams to understand the opportunities and limitations of the solutions being implemented
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities, and to provide various solution options where needed
  • Work directly with Senior Management regularly to provide project status updates


Requirements:

  • A Degree holder in Business, Information System, Information Technology or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience in software solutions
  • Ability to independently handle multiple high-complexity tasks with ownership and initiative
  • 1-2 years of prior software development experience would be a major advantage
  • Excellent analytical and customer management skills are required
  • Ability to analyse business workflows and processes to meet critical milestones in time
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in English and Chinese
  • Energetic candidates with a "can-do" attitude and proven multi-tasking ability would be of definite advantage
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Confluence / JIRA) or holders of PMP/Scrum certifications would be a plus.
