Job Description:
- The Business Analyst will be an energetic, self-motivated individual who will work as a subject matter expert on reporting and analysis.
- Provide Learning and Development related research, evaluation, operational reporting, and analytical support.
- Responsible for collecting data/information to interpret data, produce insights, create relevant collateral/data visualization reports, and recommend actions on less complex issues to support business needs.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide specialized L&D-related research, evaluation, operations, and reporting to support and advise.
- Conduct analysis, evaluation/assessment, and review of business performance/processes/initiatives related to L&D.
- Develop and/or prepare applicable business metrics/standard/ad hoc reporting in collaboration with partners and stakeholders to help inform or support decisions as appropriate.
- Conduct regular, ongoing analysis, evaluation/assessment, and review of business performance/processes/initiatives.
- Support the development of presentations/communications and the dissemination of information.
- Understand department objectives and contribute by recommending appropriate action to management based on analysis and review of results.
- Utilize both quantitative and qualitative methodologies to interpret and present data effectively and clearly.
- Work with others to develop and implement new procedures and/or processes, including layouts or templates for data consumption purposes.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to absorb, synthesize, and analyze significant amounts of information/research.
- Enjoy working on complex issues.
- Proven planning and project management skills, with the ability to provide oversight and coordination of multiple projects/changing priorities, concurrently under tight timelines and with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with different stakeholders including executives, L&D Centres of Excellence, HR Data & Analytics team, and external partners/vendors.
- Ability to work and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to continually assess and prioritize workflow based on the needs of the project.
- Ability to tolerate some ambiguity and lend structure to the work to move it forward.
Must Haves:
- Business Analyst skills.
- Stakeholder management.
- Communication.
- Data storytelling - Analyze the data and be able to communicate that.
- Excel skills.
- Visio.
Nice to Have:
- Jira/Confluence experience.
- Visual storytelling – using PowerPoint/Excel graphs, etc.
- Banking experience is nice to have.
