Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with estimating and pursuing projects.
  • Develop a project kickoff procedure for awarded projects, including establishment of budgets, subcontracts, schedules, and overall planning.
  • Establish and lead project teams.
  • Select resources, equipment, and materials for project delivery.
  • Manage project teams and oversee their responsibilities.
  • Implement cost tracking and change management.
  • Establish positive working relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Resolve conflicts and assist with disciplinary action.
  • Support the Principal and accounting team with monthly invoices and financials.
  • Provide leadership for project and company safety requirements.
  • Establish and deliver project closeout procedures.
  • Directly manage a team of four to six people.


Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager on civil construction projects.
  • Experience with projects in the $2-5 million range.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • PMP Designation is an asset.
