Overview

ClearBlue Markets is on the hunt for a passionate and dynamic Senior Product Manager to join our team in Toronto. We’re focused on helping our clients navigate the complexities of carbon markets and making a real impact in advancing global Net Zero goals. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our product innovation, driving the creation and launch of cutting-edge solutions that not only delight our customers but also contribute to a more sustainable future. With a strong focus on simplicity and user experience, you’ll lead cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle—from bold ideation to a triumphant launch. You’ll dive deep into market trends, uncover the 'WHYs' behind business decisions, and navigate a lively network of stakeholders to ensure our products align with our big-picture strategy. Main Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning:

  • Dream big and develop product strategies that push boundaries and align with our bold vision.
  • Dive into market research and competitive analysis to uncover hidden opportunities and potential threats.
  • Create dynamic product roadmaps and prioritize features that will wow our customers and dominate the market.

Product Development:

  • Lead passionate, cross-functional teams to deliver kick-ass products on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from wild ideation and quirky design to rigorous development, testing, and epic launch.
  • Champion simplicity and user experience in every solution, ensuring our products are intuitive and a joy to use.

Customer Focus:

  • Make sure our products meet the highest standards of usability, performance, and reliability—our customers deserve nothing less.
  • Be the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs throughout the entire product development process.

Performance Measurement:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our products.
  • Conduct post-launch analysis to see how our products are performing and pinpoint areas for improvement.

Stakeholder Navigation:

  • Navigate our lively network of internal stakeholders to gather insights and understand key business drivers.
  • Dig deep to uncover the 'WHYs' behind business decisions, ensuring alignment and driving informed product strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a bonus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.
  • A strategic thinker who can see the big picture and turn it into actionable plans.
  • Practical, hands-on experience in leading product teams and managing the product development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills that can rally a team and inspire innovation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities that cut through chaos and find solutions.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, ready to jump into the fast-paced startup environment.
  • Deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.

  • Experience working in carbon markets or with sustainability-focused products.
  • Previous experience in a startup environment, demonstrating the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance related to carbon markets.
