We are searching for an experienced Junior Data Migration Specialist to work on a large, complex, multi-year initiative for SAP ERP Implementation. The successful individual will be responsible for executing end-to-end Data Migration activities on this critical project that will drive business improvements and strategic objectives for the organization.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Execute/support data migration activities related to data preparation, pre-load and post-load validation of data from Legacy to SAP S4 HANA.
  • Ensure data integrity between different data objects (Material Master, BOM, Routing, etc.).
  • Ensure that the data is migrated accurately, securely, and efficiently.
  • Work with other members of the Data Migration team and business members of the project to convert data to the new S4 HANA environment from non-SAP Legacy team.
  • Perform data profiling, data validations, data cleansing & data enrichment.
  • Resolve data migration issues and provide technical support for the data migration process.
  • Consult with stakeholders including subject matter experts to understand the source and target data models and business requirements.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of data models for projects that are part of current and future migrations.
  • Create documentation of the project process to serve as a guide for future migration projects.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement, automation, and optimization.
  • Work independently with customers and team members.
  • Be well conversant with Data Migration from Non-SAP systems to SAP S4HANA system.
  • Manage and coordinate across functional teams consisting of business team members (internal, external, consultants, contractors, vendors).
  • Communicate project needs, objectives, activities, and actionable deliverables.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings.

Requirements And Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SAP Data Migration with hands-on experience; preferably in a structured business and technical environment.
  • Minimum 3-5 years direct experience working on large-scale SAP projects as part of the Data Migration team.
  • Experience with SAP Bill of Material (BOM), Routing and Manufacturing is critical.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing or supply chain environment would be an asset.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math).
