Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an all day Cafe and kitchen bar Assistant.
As an assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment.
This is a paid position located inResponsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and ensure that all items are prepared according to recipes and food safety guidelines
- Serve customers with a friendly and positive attitude, taking orders and handling cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment
- Stock inventory and replenish supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Bartendering, baristaing, cleaning, closing, vicinity shopping, furniture and decor rearranging, and other floor running tasks.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a food service or cafe environment is required, at least a year of relevant experience
- Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
