Job Title: Cook

Za Cafe Pizzeria & Bar is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

Za Cafe Pizzeria & Bar is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Cook, you will be working in a team-oriented setting with a focus on providing excellent customer service and quality food.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35 hours per week.
