EEAST is looking for a Chair and Co-Chair to support the Multi Faith Network (MFN)

Abstraction from your current role will be agreed in line with service requirements as per the abstraction policy.

This role has been approved and continues to receive support from the Trust Executive Team.

Main duties of the job

The network chair will hold responsibility for coordinating the activities of the network and fulfil the following tasks:

The chair will chair the meetings Set dates for the meetings and organise a suitable space to be available. Set an agenda for each meeting and work with the MWN Secretary to send these out to participants in advance. Circulate minutes or notes from each meeting to all participants of the group. Be the link person to the Head of Culture and Inclusivity for East of England Ambulance Trust Service and to keep all participants aware of significant changes in the Trust between meetings. Support the Trust in fulfilling relevant organisational objectives as outlined in Action Plans , Workforce Race Equality Standards and the Equality Delivery System.

The role of the Multi-Faith Network (MFN) is to assist the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) in ensuring diversity and inclusion across the organisation and in effectively discharging their responsibilities as Accountable Officer.

The MFN has been developed to support improved experience for staff within the workplace with a focus on faith and those issues impacting people of faith and to increase awareness and improve better understanding of faiths.

We believe that supporting people of faith and raising awareness of those faiths within the workplace will improve patient care and experience in the communities we serve.
