10+ Years' Experience in a Production Engineering/Support, High Availability Role
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience
a. Understands the role of an SRE / SiteOps.

b.
5 years Minimum of Dynatrace Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in DT

i. Able to setup Synthetic Monitoring.-MUST

ii. Drill down to the core errors and diagnose.-MUST

iii. DynaTrace Associate Certified is a Plus but will not substitute real world experience.- GOOD TO HAVE

a. Ability to effectively write grammatically correct technical and business friendly documentation.-MUST

b. Understands RCA's, 5 Why's and the ability to craft an RCA with mínimal supervision.-MUST

c.

Must be able to lead a Critical Incident (MI) Call, take technical notes and wrap everything up in an RCA with mínimal Supervisor/Rudy intervention.

-MUST

d. AWS / Azure / Google - Cloud experience.-MUST

e. Understands API's including API issues which may occur (API Get errorsetc).-MUST

f.
Clear understanding of TCP/IP Networking, DNS (BIND/MS DNS), Routing, Proxy's, and Firewalls. We will use these skills to troubleshoot a wide variety of issues.
  • GOOD TO HAVE
g. Apache / Tomcat, IIS, LAMP and WAMP experience a Plus.
  • GOOD TO HAVE
h. Linux (Ubuntu) and MS Windows Server Experience.-Linux(Ubuntu)GOOD TO HAVE

i. Willing to work in a very dynamic tech environment which requires a
Headstrong person.-MUST

j. On-Call 24/7 Support on Rotation within North American hours.-MUST

k. Must have the willingness to challenge any process which doesn't seem correct or make sense. This includes calling me out as well, we do not need a "
Yes" person. =)

l. Able to work remotely and understands the process. If this person is sitting idle, they should reach out to me directly. I would prefer not to rotate out the next person for a silly reason.-MUST

m. Familiar with SAP, SAP Integrations.
  • GOOD TO HAVE
n. Understands SQL DB's, Replication Agreements and the ability to write SQL queries.-MUST

o. 2 or more scripting languages for future automation and other tasks.-MUST
