Edmonton, AB Shop location.


  • Work in a safe manner, lead by example and contribute to overall company safety
  • Accurate preparation and tracking of service and production orders and order entry
  • Procurement, coordination and expediting of consumables, raw material and inventory to maximize profitability, achieve deadlines and satisfy customer requirements
  • Ensure accurate costing of all parts and services required to complete orders
  • Communication with customers and vendors professionally and confidently
  • Procurement and expediting of components and services, identify opportunities to
  • Data entry, organization and filing related orders and other relevant information within standards of repair shop facility, both manually and electronically as required
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both internal customers
  • Work in a team environment to efficiently achieve a high standard of quality and service to Applied's extensive customer base
  • Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office and ERP software (SAP preferred)
  • Related service experience in a shop environment
  • Experience with procurement and inventory management best practices
  • General understanding of steel components, properties and related welding and machining procedures.
  • Service orientated with exposure to quality assurance and quality control.
  • Ability to prioritize and number of tasks and complete a variety of work assignments within structured deadlines.
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail and strong root cause analysis skill.
  • Ability to use both written and verbal skills to effectively communicate technical information.
