WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Administrative Support position provides in-person reception services at our office locations and for each of Cambium's service lines.

You will provide essential administrative support, including answering internal and external client calls, handling correspondence, arranging and monitoring courier shipments, maintaining office supplies, and assisting with file maintenance.

Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, contributing to our overall efficiency and success.

  • Provide administrative support for all Cambium service lines, as directed
  • Arrange and closely monitor incoming and outgoing courier shipments
  • Perform indepth document formatting in Microsoft Word and document accessibility software for timesensitive report preparation as directed.
  • Act as a first contact for staff on administrativerelated issue resolution, work with additional levels of support when necessary
  • Closely monitor and maintain office supplies
  • Support employee onboarding activities
  • Communicate updates and reminders on company intranet site
  • Maintain office equipment, working with service providers when necessary (e.g. photocopier, phone system)
  • Maintain hard copy and digital files; ensure prompt filing and forwarding of correspondence
  • Support Health and Safety and facilities maintenance tasks as directed
  • Occasional travel and overtime required

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to provide inperson reception support at the office during Cambium's core hours remote work and/or flexible work hours are not permitted for this position
  • 5 years of experience in an administrative capacity preferred (wage to be commensurate with experience)
  • A postsecondary certificate or diploma in Office Administration or equivalent is preferred
  • Resourcefulness, flexibility, and a high degree of reliability
  • Strong verbal skills and proven superior telephone manners this position receives, redirects, and takes messages for hundreds of telephone calls per month
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds (for example: box of paper, incoming courier packages)
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 software and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent writing skills, including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Superior time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion
  • Meticulous records maintenance skills
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
