Reception/administrative Assistant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ADMIN DUTIES
- Answer and direct calls to appropriate staff
- Handle/distribute incoming and outgoing courier
- Expediting purchase orders; tracking shipments
- Inventory reconciliation
- Handling shipping documents; uploads to system
- Customer releases; Invoicing
- Other small tasks as required
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 year experience working in the metals industry is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Basic accounting knowledge for purpose of invoicing and payments
- Experience in logistics; negotiating rates, booking shipments, completing required customs documentation
- Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Must be flexible, adaptable and a quick learner.
- Works well both independently and in a team

Salary:
$40,000.00 /year to start + Benefits after 3 months probation period
