Safety - Drivers have the Right to Decide and assess the situation to determine if it's safe to drive

Equipment - Bison tractors are on average under two years old; three years for trailers

Compensation - Safe mile bonus paid quarterly, regional premiums, fuel subsidy, benefits and more

Position Profile:

  • Running Monday to Friday 0600 to 0700 start, overnight trips are required up to 5 days on the road at a time
  • Seasonally, onetotwo rounders per week from Manitoba or Saskatchewan to the U.S. with shorthauls to complete the week
  • Scheduled days and start times might vary on occasion
  • Freight type: Hauling agriculture commodities
  • Entails moving commodities primarily in Manitoba and Saskatchewan into the U.S.
  • Tandem grain hopper bottom trailers (equipment type) includes requirement to load on farms, tarp trailers after loading and untarp at delivery upon unloading
  • Will entail being in and out of tractor cab in various weather conditions while loading at farms
  • Will be required to sweep out trailer as required; potential exposure to grain commodity dust
  • Additional work might be available upon request; dependent on freight and tractor availability
  • Online training courses and one to two hours on the job training in the yard prior to first dispatch
  • On job incab training required
  • Company Driver with over 24 months tractortrailer experience
  • Must be U.S. qualified
  • Must have a FAST card
  • Super B grain hopper bottom experience is preferred
  • Reliable, flexible and punctual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Values safety
