Bison Transport is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1/AZ driver to join our team as a Cross-Border Tandem Hopper Class 1/AZ Driver. This role involves running 5 to 7 days on the road at a time, with overnight trips required. You will be responsible for moving agriculture commodities primarily from Manitoba and Saskatchewan into the U.S.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload grain commodities from farms and delivery points
- Operate tandem grain hopper bottom trailers, including tarping and un-tarping
- Work in and out of the tractor cab in various weather conditions
- Sweep out trailers as required and handle potential exposure to grain commodity dust
- Participate in online training courses and on-the-job training prior to first dispatch
We are looking for a company driver with over 24 months of tractor-trailer experience. You must reside in Western Manitoba and be U.S. qualified. A FAST card is also required. Grain hopper bottom experience is preferred, but not necessary. You must have a valid Class 1/AZ license and be reliable, flexible, and punctual. Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety are essential.
