Job Summary:

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and contributing to a positive and cooperative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food, clean prep areas, and maintain kitchen stock as a Line Cook.
  • Collect and sanitize dishes, glasses, and cutlery, assist with food preparation, and keep the kitchen clean as a Dishwasher.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, provide recommendations, and maintain stock and cleanliness of the restaurant as a Server.
  • Prepare beverages for servers and patrons, deliver food to guests, recommend food items, and maintain stock and cleanliness of the bar as a Bartender.
  • Greet and seat guests, provide menus and water, answer phones, perform general cleaning, and assist service staff as a Host.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age for Bartender or Server.
  • Experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is an asset.
  • Smart Choices Certificate is an asset.
  • Food Handlers Certification is an asset.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Métis culture, MMF programs, and services is a definite asset.
  • Ability to travel, valid Manitoba Driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle.
