Maintains property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises.

  • Conduct thorough background checks on potential tenants
  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, rent collection, and tenant relations
  • Maintains property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing work order repairs, planning renovations, contracting with landscaping and snow removal services
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
  • Approve property invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Enter invoices, charge back from clients, reconcile bank statement, Prepare GST report.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for property owners

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • 35 years' experience in real estate or sales
  • 13 years' management experience a plus

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with property accounting software (ideally Yardi/Quickbooks/Entrata).

  • Solid knowledge of office software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Skills

  • Excellent phone etiquette to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to file documents accurately and maintain organized records
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable lease agreements with tenants

Salary:
From $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
