Property Manager

Job Summary:
The Manitoba Métis Federation is seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our Housing & Property Management Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative duties of property management and the overall management of property holdings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Design plans for properties that meet the needs of our citizens and clients.
- Analyze problems with properties and develop effective solutions.
- Implement a maintenance program for all properties, new and old.
- Prepare and manage budgets for property maintenance and repairs.
- Oversee the daily administration of the property, including lease agreements and renewals.
- Produce reports on property holdings and performance.
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, Business Commerce, or a related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in property management or a related position.
- Strong understanding of property management and its financial aspects.
- Knowledge of property management regulations and laws.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Ability to travel and valid Manitoba Driver's license.
