Job Summary:

The Manitoba Métis Federation is seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our Housing & Property Management Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative duties of property management and the overall management of property holdings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned properties, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Design plans for properties that meet the needs of our citizens and clients.
  • Analyze problems with properties and develop effective solutions.
  • Implement a maintenance program for all properties, new and old.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for property maintenance and repairs.
  • Oversee the daily administration of the property, including lease agreements and renewals.
  • Produce reports on property holdings and performance.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, Business Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in property management or a related position.
  • Strong understanding of property management and its financial aspects.
  • Knowledge of property management regulations and laws.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to travel and valid Manitoba Driver's license.
