Homemakers - Self Employed

Want to go into business for yourself? Community Support Connections is currently recruiting
Independent Contractors for its Homemaking Program to provide assistance with light housekeeping, shopping, laundry and meal preparation.

Clients are older adults and persons with disabilities, living throughout
Cambridge, Kitchener and North Dumfries.

Community Support Connections screens Homemakers through reference and police checks, and then matches them with eligible clients.

This position is part-time with flexible hours. Clients pay a per-hour set fee (2 hour booking minimum) for the service, directly to the Homemaker.

  • Exceptional cleaning skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Some experience with older adults and/or persons with disabilities
  • Access to a reliable vehicle preferred

NOTE:

Community Support Connections provides its Independent Contractors with a comprehensive COVID-19 prevention and safety plan and job specific safety guidelines.

All precautions will be taken during the recruitment process and additional resource tools provided upon successful program selection.
