About the Role:

  • Test and quality assure software products, including Discovery and SpaceClaim, to ensure they meet customer needs and quality standards.
  • Conduct interactive and automated testing of user interfaces and simulation results.
  • Investigate and track defects in production code.
  • Develop regression tests and create scripts and tools to automate testing infrastructure, process, and tools.
  • Learn and employ best practices for quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Testing and quality assurance of software products.
  • Conducting interactive and automated testing of user interfaces and simulation results.
  • Investigating and tracking defects in production code.
  • Developing regression tests and creating scripts and tools to automate testing infrastructure, process, and tools.
  • Learning and employing best practices for quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a BS or MS in a field related to Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the co-op.
  • Knowledge and interest in software testing methodologies and/or EDA tools.
  • Knowledge of CAD software.
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as C, C++, Python.
  • Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skills.
  • Team player, responsible, and self-motivated.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ANSYS software experience.
