About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Design Business Unit as a Software Testing Co-op. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our design and modeling products.

Responsibilities
  • Test and quality assure software products like Discovery and SpaceClaim
  • Conduct interactive and automated testing of user interfaces and simulation results
  • Investigate and track defects in production code
  • Develop regression tests and create scripts and tools to automate testing infrastructure, process, and tools
  • Learn and employ best practices for quality assurance
Requirements
  • Pursuing a BS or MS in any field related to Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a GPA of or higher
  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the co-op
  • Knowledge and interest in software testing methodologies and/or EDA tools
  • Knowledge of CAD software
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as C, C++, Python
  • Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skills
  • Team player, responsible, and self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications
  • ANSYS software experience
