Software Testing Co-op Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Co-op to join our Design Business Unit. As a Software Testing Co-op, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our design and modeling products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test software products like Discovery and SpaceClaim to ensure they meet customer needs and quality standards.
  • Conduct interactive and automated testing of user interfaces and simulation results.
  • Investigate and track defects in production code.
  • Develop regression tests and create scripts and tools to automate testing infrastructure, process, and tools.
  • Learn and employ best practices for quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a BS or MS in any field related to Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the co-op.
  • Knowledge and interest in software testing methodologies and/or EDA tools.
  • Knowledge of CAD software.
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as C, C++, Python.
  • Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skills.
  • Team player, responsible, and self-motivated.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ANSYS software experience.
