We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Product team.

As a member of the Product team, you are responsible for bridging the gap between the company's technical (R&D) and business teams to ensure successful and timely product delivery.

As a great team player with excellent communication and technical skills and drive, he organizes and coordinates the go-to-market process for innovation and software upgrade products.

Affinity with the industry is key to understanding its needs and finding innovative solutions for the transportation market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and provide governance on the project plan for product launches
  • Track project schedule, costs and content
  • Coordinate product launches with the various departments, namely:
  • Work closely with the Technology, Production and Quality Assurance teams to ensure quality products are designed and released on time
  • Work closely with the Customer Experience team and the Sales and Marketing team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that product development and marketing efforts support overall company strategies and objectives
  • Communicate project progress and liaise between the various internal teams while communicating the status of the various projects on a regular basis
  • Ensure the implementation and execution of the various committees
  • Use an efficient 'Stage Gate' process and follow up with customers regarding their satisfaction with new products
  • Actively participate in the development of the user experience in collaboration with the customer experience team
  • Ensure effective change management throughout projects.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years' experience as a technology product manager
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (or DEC, combined with 15 years' relevant experience)
  • Academic background in marketing or IT, or a master's degree in innovation management (an asset)
  • Experience in developing, implementing and managing product management processes (lifecycle management, roadmaps, stage gate process, etc.)
  • Experience or knowledge of transport and logistics or telematics solutions (an asset)
  • Curiosity and interest in new technologies, with a strong capacity for learning
  • Motivation and passion for achieving results, with a strong sense of priorities and organization
  • Strong leadership and team spirit
  • Ability to communicate strategies, plans and results effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
