About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Regulatory Policy Manager, Deputy Manager, Electric Vehicle Regulations, or Assistant Manager, EV Charging Framework. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and implementing regulatory policies and frameworks to ensure the safe and reliable provision of electric vehicle charging services in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regulatory policies and frameworks to support the growth of the electric vehicle market in Singapore.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and take appropriate action against non-compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of the National Electric Vehicle Centre's (NEVC) regulatory framework and policies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the outcomes of ensuring safety, managing operational constraints, and being business-friendly.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into operational needs and recommend effective and efficient use of enforcement resources.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in any discipline.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Experience in enforcement policy or operations, such as regulating licensees or use of banned products.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and with various stakeholders.
  • Interest and basic knowledge in electrical systems and electric vehicle charging systems will be advantageous.
