Guest Experience Manager

Overview

The Guest Experience Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing shift operations while ensuring that both Crew and Managers provide an exceptional experience for our Guests. This position is essential in realizing the McDonald's Canada Guest Experience Vision through effective leadership and management.

Key Responsibilities

Shift Oversight

  • Analyze guest traffic and sales forecasts.
  • Complete pre-shift preparations and checklists.
  • Establish shift objectives in collaboration with area managers.
  • Facilitate daily team huddles to align on goals.
  • Monitor operations from the observation area.
  • Identify operational challenges and provide coaching to the team.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure service standards.
  • Engage with guests throughout their experience.

Production Management

  • Supervise and guide staff on production protocols.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
  • Monitor food quality and adherence to holding times.

Service Excellence

  • Exemplify outstanding guest service behaviors and mentor staff accordingly.
  • Gather guest feedback to enhance service delivery.
  • Document and address guest concerns promptly.
  • Train and support the McCafé Coordinator and Beverage Specialists.
  • Review guest feedback and coordinate follow-up actions.

Business Planning

  • Track and report on departmental goals using performance metrics.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings to discuss progress.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of departmental performance.

Training and Development

  • Implement training programs for crew and management.
  • Conduct regular follow-up sessions to ensure skill retention.
